Botha will be visiting San Diego from 2002-02-23 to 2002-03-01. I'm planning to drive down from Los Angeles to meet, exchange key signatures, and hopefully see the Coronado Bridge[1] sometime during his visit. Is anyone interested in carpooling or meeting us there? If so, do you have an preferences as to the date and time? It would be better if we can do it during the weekends. Thanks. Bao -- Bao C. I'll probably be able to spend some time away from the actual proceedings, except when I'm presenting. Maybe a late-afternoon->early evening occasion would be most "productive"? :) BTW, how far is this drive that you'll be undertaking? I expect with high probability that an afternoon commitment will constrain my options. If I can swing it, I would like to join the carpool group. John, do you know a good place to meet and eat? lots of places. i'm leaning right now towards The Spaghetti Factory. it's a nice little family oriented restaurant in downtown San Diego. very yummy food, and not too expensive. a little closer to mission valley (where the Town and Country hotel is) there is your standard fare of Bennigans, or for those with more money than brains ;) there is PF Changs and The Cheesecake factory (way way way overpriced and they put adverts on their menus), so let's pretend i never mentioned those two. plus, spaghetti factory is not too far from the Coronado Bay Brdige! -john
